How to Run Your Entire Marketing on One Platform
A practical walkthrough: sign up, connect your social accounts, schedule your first post, create an email campaign, and see all your analytics in one place.
April 2026
Most marketing advice focuses on strategy. This post focuses on execution -- specifically, the mechanics of running a complete marketing operation from a single platform.
We'll walk through setting up StoreSpine from scratch: five steps that take about 30 minutes the first time, and result in a marketing workflow where everything is in one place.
Step 1: Sign Up and Set Up Your Account
Head to storespine.com/signup. The free plan requires no credit card and gives you access to all core features with generous limits.
During onboarding, you'll be asked to:
- Name your workspace (usually your business name)
- Choose your primary business category (helps AI generate relevant content)
- Set your brand color and upload a logo (used in email templates)
This takes about 3 minutes. You can skip most of it and come back later, but setting the brand color and logo upfront means your email templates will look right from the start.
Step 2: Connect Your Social Media Accounts
Go to Settings → Social Accounts. You'll see connection buttons for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok.
Each connection goes through the platform's official OAuth flow -- you'll be redirected to authorize StoreSpine to post on your behalf. This is the standard process all scheduling tools use.
Instagram note
Instagram requires a Business or Creator account (not personal). If you're using a personal Instagram account, you'll need to convert it first in the Instagram app under Account → Switch to Professional Account.
Once connected, your account avatars will appear in the social section. Any post you schedule can be sent to one or multiple platforms simultaneously.
Step 3: Schedule Your First Social Post
Go to Social → New Post. You'll see a compose window with a few options:
- Write manually -- Type your content directly
- Generate with AI -- Click the AI button and describe what you want to say. Claude will draft a post optimized for each platform.
- Upload media -- Add images or video directly from your device or your StoreSpine media library
After writing your post, select which platforms to publish to. Each platform shows a preview of how the post will look -- character limits, image aspect ratios, and formatting rules are all handled automatically.
Choose Schedule and pick a date and time. The content calendar will update immediately to show your scheduled post.
Step 4: Create and Send an Email Campaign
Go to Email → Campaigns → New Campaign.
StoreSpine's email builder has three creation paths:
Option A: Use a template
Choose from pre-built templates for newsletters, promotions, announcements, and more. Templates are responsive and pre-styled with your brand colors. Click any element to edit it.
Option B: Start from scratch with the drag-and-drop builder
Build your email by dragging sections: header, text block, image, button, divider, footer. Each section is individually configurable. Useful when you have a specific layout in mind.
Option C: Generate with AI
Describe your campaign goal ("Spring sale announcement, 20% off all products, ends Sunday") and Claude will generate subject line options, preview text, and a full email body. You edit and refine rather than writing from scratch.
Once the email is built, configure the send settings:
- Subject line and preview text
- From name and reply-to address
- Audience -- your full list, a specific segment, or a tag
- Send time -- immediately, scheduled, or optimal time (AI-recommended based on your audience's engagement history)
Click Review and Send. You'll see a summary of recipients and a final preview. Click Send Campaign.
Step 5: View Your Unified Analytics
This is where the all-in-one advantage becomes most visible. Go to Analytics → Overview.
You'll see a single dashboard showing:
- Email metrics: campaigns sent, open rate, click rate, unsubscribes
- Social metrics: posts published, total reach, engagement rate
- CRM metrics: new contacts, list growth, active segments
- Revenue attribution (if you've connected a Stripe or Square account)
The key difference from looking at these metrics in separate tools: you can see correlations. "Our email open rate went up the same week we increased posting frequency on LinkedIn" is a hypothesis you can actually investigate when all the data is in one place.
What a Typical Week Looks Like
Once you're set up, the weekly marketing routine looks something like this:
Monday (30 min)
- → Review last week's analytics (5 min)
- → Use AI to generate social posts for the week (10 min)
- → Review and schedule posts across platforms (15 min)
Wednesday (20 min)
- → Create and send weekly newsletter (20 min with AI + template)
Friday (10 min)
- → Check campaign performance, respond to any engagement
Total: ~60 min/week for a consistent, multi-channel marketing presence
Next Steps
Once you're comfortable with the basics, explore:
- Automation sequences -- Set up a welcome email series that triggers when someone joins your list
- Contact segments -- Create dynamic segments based on behavior (opened email, clicked link, from specific region)
- API integration -- Connect StoreSpine to your website or e-commerce store via the 72+ endpoint API
